Agent - Paula Keown

Paula has been happily married for 34 years. She has 2 grown daughters and 2 granddaughters. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in accounting in 2003. After graduation, she went to work for the State of Tennessee for 12 years as a legislative auditor with the Comptroller of the Treasury. In 2016, Paula made a career change and went to work as a customer service representative for an insurance company. In April of 2018, Paula decided to become an insurance agent and by the end of May was licensed. She has spent the time since helping people take care of their insurance needs. She has volunteered with programs like Feeding America and has regularly helped teach Medicare classes since becoming an agent.

Agent - Matthew McCay

Matthew has been in the insurance industry since August of 2014. He started mainly in the Medicare market but quickly expanded. He began to work and learn about life insurance in 2015 and then worked for Transamerica as a life and annuity agent. Gaining more experience with each affiliation, Matt has extensive experience in a variety of areas in the insurance and financial world. Matt is an avid WKU fan, often traveling to bowl games and NCAA Tournament games. He graduated from WKU with his Bachelor of Arts in both History and Social Studies in 2014 and earned his Masters of Science in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration in 2017. He is an active member of Destiny Church, the former children’s pastor, and plays bass and drums in the band occasionally. He loves giving back and strives to make a positive difference in the lives he encounters each day at work, at home, and in the community. Matt is married to Stephanie, father to Riley and Hailey, and Paula’s son-in-law on the days she claims him.

Stephanie started in the insurance industry in 2014. Prior to insurance, Stephanie attended Western Kentucky University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Computer Information Systems. Stephanie is the wife of Matthew and the mother of two amazing little girls, Riley and Hailey. Stephanie works hard for her clients to guide each of them into the products that meet their insurance needs. Stephanie serves her community through various organizations, teaches educational classes to help individuals to make wise choices, writes blog posts about the latest industry trends and manages a YouTube channel of informational videos to help those who are confused, and also co-hosts Outnumbered the Podcast.
